Cancellations, Refunds and Transfers

Cancellations

All courses are subject to minimal attendance. The decision to cancel will be made three days prior to the scheduled course date. Unless otherwise notified, full refunds will be awarded or no transfer fee will be levied if the course is cancelled by Guardian Emergency Training.

Refunds

In order to receive a refund, an application for withdrawal must be done in writing and accompany any receipts received for the said training.

If a withdrawal notice is received 7 days before the course starts, a full refund except for an administration fee and book costs (if issued) is awarded.

An administration fee of $10 plus applicable taxes is retained by Guardian Emergency Training for courses up to 16 hours in length.

WorkSafe BC Approved First Aid: An administration fee of $50 is retained by Guardian Emergency Training for courses over 16 hours in length.

No refund will be awarded if Guardian Emergency Training is notified less than 5 days from the course. Non-attendance does not constitute withdrawal.

For courses that are over 16 hours in length: if the participant withdraws before the 2nd session, 75% will be refunded, withdraws before the 3rd session: 60% will be refunded. No refunds will be made after the 3rd session.

Refunds take 2 - 3 weeks to process

Transfers

The administration fee will be charged for each transfer to a different course. Student transfers are only valid for 6 months from the date of the initial course receipt.

NSF Cheques

There will be a $20 administration and handling fee charged on all NFS cheques.
